Thinka was founded in 2010 by Britton Stewart and Sarah McClure.
Britton Stewart received her BBA in International Business with an emphasis on marketing from the Terry College of Business at the University of Georgia. She later completed the rigorous design program at Portfolio Center in Atlanta, Georgia. After graduation, Britton held a graphic design position at Zehnder, one of the largest full service advertising agencies in New Orleans. While at Zehnder, Britton’s work earned her 4 Local Gold Addy Awards, 2 District Gold Addy Awards, 4 Local Silver Addy Awards, a Mosaic Addy Award, a Special Judges Addy Award, and an AIGA Design Award. Her family has been in New Orleans for six generations.
Sarah McClure received her BFA in Graphic Design from the Savannah College of Art and Design. She and Britton graduated at the top of the class after excelling in the demanding design program at Portfolio Center. She was chosen for an internship at Unboundary in Atlanta, followed by several freelance positions and then a full time art director’s position at Leo Burnett/Arc Worldwide in Chicago. She has had the privelege of working with some great people, including McDonald’s, Portland Community College, Dreamworks, Hasbro, Lucasfilms, and FedEx. She grew up in Peachtree City, Georgia and is delighted to be settling in New Orleans.
